Freelancing

When: September 2020 - January 2021

During my free time, I took some freelancing projects. The projects ranges from coding projects, video editing, to designing logos and making simple images.

Video Editing

Well, I can say the first freelancing that actually came from mouth to mouth was this video editing project. The client was actually asking help for doing the edit to his already-taken footages and need to stitch ’em all, which my client has no time to do (he was a college student that currently doing exams and probably had bad time management?). So I able to deliver the result within one week (yay) and he was satisfied with my work. Obviously I can’t upload the result here, but I can put the thumbnail instead.

Design

When talking about design projects, most of them are from my relatives who needed help to create some design for their products. The products themselves are stickers and helped them for printing the physical stickers. I also helped my friend making his company’s logo as a vector and beautified company profile presentation slides.

Tools I use are Affinity Designer for vector and Adobe Photoshop for images. It’s been a while getting a design job. I can say that my design is not the best but it’s good enough for my clients lol. These are my design that I can publicly share… Most of the assets came from freepik.com and they come very handy in EPS and AI format.

Coding

Most of my freelancing projects are programming tasks, which came from my friends and friends-friends. Ranging from vanilla PHP-HTML-JS stack, Mobile apps using Flutter and Kotlin, to Laravel projects. Well, I can’t show overall of the project from most of my coding projects publicly, because there are some “joki” projects that were given my acquaintances (yes plural) that needed some help lol.

Flutter

When it comes to Flutter, almost all of my projects are simple apps (since they are ‘joki’ projects). It was so simple that end-of-semester projects were done in literally days, said i took a week of work lol.

There are also some web-dev projects that i took, that also a joki projects. Mostly on simple PHP and some are Laravel projects.

Sales

Back before covid-era, in 2018, I worked for a food distributor as their sales force (or we called as jaga stand) at an 4-days exhibition called East Food 2018 for Inter Buana Mandiri (IBM). It was my first time working as a sales, and my main objective are introducing their products and getting sales and potential customers. And I was satisfied with the memories & experience that I got there.

I was selling their Bruschetta snack, a Maretti brand one, which actually making my likeness to garlic breads (that we barely eat in Indonesia, casually). During 4 days, I successfully hit 2 of 4 goals (KPI? the word is to fancy i think) to sell a certain amount of the snack. The exhibition ended well and we parted ways since then, still I open to sales freelancing anyway.
